Sciences

Sciences

For students pursuing a degree in the sciences, there’s something of interest for everyone. If you love wildlife and ecosystems, you can explore biology, ecology, evolution, and behavior, or environmental science.  As the reality of climate change sets in, the demand for innovative environmental scientists is rising rapidly. Are you ready to help fix problems like global warming, pollution, and dwindling natural resources?

About Our Program

Our Sciences program at Heritage falls under two categories: environmental sciences (including Natural Resources and Environmental Science) and biological sciences (such as Clinical Laboratory Sciences and Biology). Our environmental sciences students are prepared to deal with complex issues such as air and water quality; conservation; renewable energy; and natural resource planning. If you’re a biological sciences major, you’ll be prepared to enter the workforce as an entry-level scientist or a clinical lab scientist, or to pursue additional education at graduate or medical school. Our programs also offer a variety of research opportunities.
