Campus Event

Heritage University is an institution founded by women and where women make up 70% of our student body; at Heritage, we are all about empowering women to make an impact in the world. 2020 is the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment, which guaranteed women the right to vote. To commemorate this, we are bringing a panel of women leaders from across the state for two events which will educate, inspire and raise scholarship funds for the women students at Heritage who are empowering themselves through higher education.

Join us for an evening of powerful programming and intelligent insight with some of the brightest female minds in our community. A dynamic panel presentation, hosted and moderated by Michelle Gonzalez, Director of the Washington State Women’s Commission, will explore key issues facing women today. And, you’ll be among the first to explore the Yakima Valley Museum’s Divergent Voices – Common Ground and Washington Women in History exhibits all while enjoying wine and refreshments crafted by women in our community. So whether you come solo simply to network or make it a date with friends, you’re guaranteed to leave inspired and equipped to take action!
