DESCRIPTION:Cheslan Simpson\, Ph.D. \n  \nStudents interested in science and technology careers can hear from Dr. Cheslan Simpson\, a senior scientist at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory and adjunct faculty member for Heritage University Tri-Cities. He will present “DOE\, PNNL\, and Applied Science” on Friday\, March 27\, from 12:00 p.m. to 1 p.m. in the Patricia Wade Temple Room. Attendees are invited to bring their lunch and learn about research at one of the nation’s leading national laboratories. \nDr. Simpson will highlight cutting-edge work at PNNL\, including radiation physics\, artificial intelligence\, and machine learning\, while also discussing internship pathways and how students can connect their studies to real-world research opportunities.
