DESCRIPTION:Heritage University’s Educational Leadership Program is hosting Seattle-based Neural Education for a two day virtual workshop\, where you will gain insight into the science behind how students learn and be given practical and proven skills to engage students in virtual and in-person settings. You will collaborate and learn with fellow educators via synchronous and asynchronous methods. \nFriday\, October 2 \n4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. \nThe impact of stress on learning: understanding stress and its effects on the brain that limit engagement. \nSaturday\, October 3 \n9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. \nCultivate classroom connections: understanding and leveraging positive brain chemicals that create safety\, build relationships and drive motivation. \nRegistration is just $25 and qualifies for 6 clock hours. \nClick here to download flyer. \nClick here to register.
