DESCRIPTION:The Cornell University Glee Club and Chorus \nHeritage University and the Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellowship Program are proud to present the Cornell University Glee Club and Chorus at the Seasons Performance Hall in Yakima on Wednesday\, January 8\, 2020. The show starts at 7:00 p.m. \nThe renowned Cornell choirs have chosen Yakima as their first stop for their return to the Pacific Northwest after 25 years. The ensembles will explore the themes of Generations\, as reflected in renaissance motels\, folksongs\, gospel\, world music\, and contemporary compositions. \nTour repertoire includes several noted composers and arrangers from the Pacific Northwest\, including Karen Thomas\, Sydney Guillaume\, Keith Hamel\, and Stephen Hatfield\, settings of poetry by Toni Morrison and James Agee\, and west coast premieres of commissions by Ted Hearne and Hanne Baeverfjord. \nTICKETS\n$5 student | $10 general\nPurchase tickets by clicking here.\nThe Chorus and Glee Club love to share their music with communities around the country.\nThey hope to see you at the concert!
