If you have received a parking citation from Heritage University, please review the following process so that you can avoid additional fees and/or interrupted privileges for college business.

Violation of Heritage University parking and traffic regulations are subject to fines.  We sincerely urge you to pay this fine to prevent future delays of college services, revoked parking privileges, vehicle impoundment, or additional fees attached to your fine.

You must make contact with the Campus Security office within 10 days from the date of the citation to either appeal or pay the fine.  If you do not contact Campus Security within 10 days  you forfeit your right to appeal.

Appeals Process:

Traffic appeals will be held every Friday morning at 9:00 a.m. comprised of the Director of Plant, Security Officer and a representation from SGA.

If you choose to submit a letter in your defense bring your citation and letter to the Security Office to be recorded for submittal at the next hearing date.  Results are posted in the Security Office Friday afternoon.

Making Payments:

Payments may be paid at the Student Accounts window in the Student Services Building.  Unpaid fines will be billed to student accounts and are payable until either appealed or paid in full.  Individuals have 10 days from the date of the citation to contact Campus Security at (509) 865-8555 to appeal the citation.
