Dr. Blake Slonecker, Ted Robertson Chair of Humanities presents “Making the Sixties Global: Journal Publishing in History” as part of the Faculty Scholarship Research Series at Heritage University. Dr. Slonecker’s presentation will take place Wednesday, February 26, 2025 from 12pm – 1pm. This event will be held in person at the Heritage University Tri-Cities regional site, 333 W. Dr. Slonecker’s talk explores the logistics of publishing an academic journal in history – including the creation of a new journal, the formation of an editorial team, the process of peer review, and the management of reviews – using The Global Sixties: An Interdisciplinary Journal (globalsixtiesjournal.com) as a case study.
