Did You Know?

More than 95% of our students rely on financial aid to fund their higher education. You can help make a difference.

Why Invest?

Investing in scholarships at Heritage University gives talented students an opportunity to pursue higher education. College degrees that may not have been possible are now possible. With scholarships, students grow academically, advance in careers and impact their communities as thoughtful leaders.

How To Invest

We make it easy for you to donate! See our variety of ways to give to the Heritage community:

  • Cash Gifts
  • Recurring Gifts Program
  • Stock or Commodity Gifts
  • Matching Gifts
  • Real Estate
  • Gifts-in-Kind (e.g., Equipment, Art, Books)

How do students benefit from donations?

Students are benefited by your support in numerous ways. We also measure community impact as your support adds value to the strength and capacity of communities.

Planned Giving

“When I founded Heritage University with Violet Lumley Rau and Martha B. Yallup, I had only one mission, one dream: To provide the opportunity to earn a four-year degree to underserved and underrepresented populations of the Yakima Valley. In the time since, more than 8,500 students have graduated and gone on to better the lives of their families and our community.”

Endowment Gifts

One of the best ways to create a lasting family or personal legacy and help sustain the future of Heritage for generations ahead is to create an endowment fund. Endowment funds are held in perpetuity and invested for long-term growth while providing an income for the purpose designated by the donor(s). Only the interest earned on this investment is used to fund scholarships.

DACA Giving

Our DACA students embody the spirit of all Heritage students- intelligent, hard-working, and eager to earn a college degree. And just like their American-born classmates, they too aspire to serve our community and make the world a better place.

The only thing that sets our DACA students apart from their classmates is their immigration status.
