Scholarship Overview
The Costco Super Six Scholarship is a prestigious award established to support outstanding Heritage University seniors pursuing degrees in Business Administration or Computer Science.
Created through the generosity of Jim Sinegal, co-founder of Costco Wholesale, this scholarship is named in honor of six Heritage University alumni now serving in leadership roles at Costco Headquarters — and aims to empower the next generation to follow in their footsteps. Each year, six recipients will be awarded $7,000 to help reduce financial barriers and support academic completion.
Eligibility
Applicant must be a Heritage University rising senior, majoring in Business Administration or Computer Science,
enrolled full-time, have a demonstrated financial need, and be in good academic standing.
Award is stackable with federal, state, and university aid.
Application Requirements
Scholarship funds will be distributed during recipient’s senior year.
Applicant must submit an essay between 500-700 words addressing:
• Applicant’s academic and career goals in business or technology
• How background and experiences have shaped applicant’s ambition
• How this scholarship will support applicant’s degree completion and success
