Join us Tuesday, February 28, 2023 for “Indigenous Research Paradigms: Decolonizing Truth, Beliefs, and Power” with Iris PrettyPaint, Ph.D.

Dr. PrettyPaint will discuss her ethnographical story to explore the Indigenous Research Paradigm (strategy and methods) through multiple ways of knowing (epistemology); the Blackfoot visiting methodology (focus group); and student voice (street data). Decolonization will be discussed using clarity, willingness to be disturbed, and reclaiming knowledge.

This presentation is part of the Faculty Scholarship/Research Series cosponsored by The Center for Intercultural Learning and Teaching and the Provost/Vice President of Academic Affairs at Heritage University. All events are held from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. Links to the presentations will be made available via campus email prior to the event.
