The CILT Faculty Scholarship Series is pleased to present “People Singing in the Earth: Indigenous Phenomenology & Decolonial Legibility,” by Dr. Sol Neely, Director of Composition at HU, recently arrived from University of Alaska SW, Juneau, AK. Ph.D. from Purdue University’s Philosophy & Literature program (completed 2009), with specializations in Theory and Cultural Studies, Native American Literature and Critical Indigenous Studies, Composition Theory, Ethics, and Literary Studies. Abstract: Dr. Neely (Cherokee Nation) stages the foundations for building an Indigenous phenomenology in service of decolonial justice.
