The most delicious collaboration to support student scholarships
Building off the success of last year’s craft beer partnership to support Heritage University, ROY FARMS and COUNTRY MALT GROUP have generously donated thousands of dollars in hops and malts for partnering craft brewers to use free of charge to create delicious and festive holiday brews to benefit Heritage University students.
Heritage University is located in the heart of the Yakima Valley amidst the vast acres of hops, which amounts to 75% of the hops grown in the United States – vital to the beer industry. This is why the collaboration between Yakima Chief Hops, Georgetown Brewing Company in Seattle, WA and Bale Breaker Brewing Company in Yakima, WA began in 2023. Building upon that success, we are embarking on a new collaboration with more breweries, including those that may be close to you!
List of participating brewers
Georgetown Brewing Company, Seattle, WA
5200 Denver Ave S, Seattle, WA 98108
Name of Beer:
Heritage Collaboration IPA
Tasting Notes:
This beer is a bright, golden IPA with flavors and aromas of sweet mango, navel orange and honeydew. ABV 6.9%
Other Notes:
100% of proceeds from Heritage Collaboration IPA will go toward supporting student scholarships at Heritage University, rooted in the homeland of the Yakama Nation. More than half of the student body are either children of agricultural workers or agricultural workers themselves, so this collab not only supports our amazing hop industry, but the ag workers, and their families, who grow and harvest the hops.
