I have taught physics and chemistry for many years and occasionally teach linear algebra and differential equations for the math program. I also manage the Heritage University NASA Space Grant and maintain a research laser laboratory where we study the interaction of organic molecules with light. Paid research internships (through NASA Space Grant) and internships for credit are available to Heritage students. I have mentored nearly thirty research students from various majors during my time at Heritage. If you are interested in work with lasers, optics, instrumentation, electronics, and materials science, give me a buzz at laman_d@heritage.edu. The research internships are open to Heritage students from all majors regardless of background or experience.
