The Heritage University Research Fellowship Pilot Program (RFP) is a one- year initiative designed to support faculty in developing and advancing meaningful research, scholarship, and creative work across all disciplines.

This program fosters a collaborative and supportive environment where faculty can grow as scholars, engage in mentorship, and contribute to a vibrant culture of inquiry at Heritage University.

PROGRAM GOALS:

• Support high-quality research, scholarship, and creative activity

• Foster mentorship, collaboration, and professional growth

• Build institutional research capacity through structured support

Program Timeline
Spring 2027 – Fall 2027
Application window: May 15 through October 31, 2026

Fellowship Commitment

• Monthly check-ins with IRBAC or assigned mentor

• Participation in TIER research workshops

• End-of-year report and Research Symposium presentation

What You Will Receive

• Research Support: Funding for materials, travel, or course release (as available)

Mentorship: Opportunities to receive or provide mentorship

• Professional Development: Workshops on research design, grant writing, ethics, and dissemination

• Community of Practice: Interdisciplinary collaboration and peer feedback

ELIGIBILITY & SELECTION

Who Should Apply

• Full-time Heritage University faculty

• All disciplines and research approaches welcome

• Applicants with a defined research, scholarly, or creative project

• Individuals committed to mentorship and collaboration

Selection Criteria

Applications are reviewed through a blind, multidisciplinary process with emphasis on:

• Research clarity and merit

• Feasibility within one year

• Mentorship engagement

• Potential for growth and impact
