Our Bachelor of Arts in Education degree is for those who know they want to teach, but need a degree to do so. This pathway is also for two-year degree holders. With a B.A. Ed., you can teach at the K-8 level.
Career changers who already hold a bachelor’s degree in a field other than education can earn a Master in Teaching and the credentials they need to be certified to teach at the K-8 level.

Heritage helps first-time students from migrant and seasonal farmworker families by offering college transition support services through the College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP).

This pathway is for highly-qualified candidates who have a master’s degree, significant leadership experience, and who are not tied to a regular classroom assignment.

Heritage University works closely with businesses and community leaders to build relevant academic programming that prepares graduates for success in their chosen careers. Additionally, it seeks out opportunities to expand in areas of great need, such as in the S.T.E.M. fields. The university is expanding its outreach in this area and building a new state-of-the-art facility to increase the number of scientists, engineers and technology professionals in the Yakima Valley.
