About
Vicky is excited to share her expertise that she has gained through her 25 years of professional experience in Healthcare Management. During her tenure as a hospital CFO Vicky was assigned to 4 different hospital acquisitions where she successfully converted financially insolvent hospitals with declining market share into profitable, thriving and growing hospital networks that enhanced the quality of life in the communities where they were located.

Professor Swank has 25 years of experience in Healthcare Finance as a CFO and Operations/Finance division leader with Health Management Associates in multiple facilities throughout the U.S. She started in Healthcare as a Respiratory Therapist and has held positions in IT and Accounting prior to her first CFO position with HMA. She has 5 years of experience managing Physician Practice operations ( 100 physicians in 5 states) with HMA. She developed a physician recruitment/onboarding manual that included policies, best practices, checklists and strategic planning tools for the 400 physician practices in HMA.
Special Interests
Vicky enjoys hiking and camping anywhere in the Northwest. She has a passion for animals of all types. She is currently a proud owner of 4 dogs and 6 cats ( many of them were adopted from the Humane society). She owned a “celebrity” skunk for 10 years until he passed away in 2009. Vicky has played piano for many years and she likes to get her exercise through Zumba. She enjoys spending time with her 3 children and husband of 31 years.
Community Engagement
Vicky has participated in many finance committees in her professional years including the WSHA finance committee and the CW Residency Finance Committees. She also volunteers regularly in her church and at the Union Gospel Mission in Yakima. She teaches pre-K Sunday School at her church and participates in the music program.
