All this, plus a rigorous academic curriculum, will prepare you for a lifelong career in nursing.
Nursing students get to start working with patients during their second year of studies. Heritage is proud to have relationships with more than 20 health-care institutions across Washington, including Seattle Children’s Hospital, Yakima Health District and Virginia Mason Memorial Hospital Maternity Care. This means that in addition to having access to our clinical and simulation labs, you will also have opportunities to get real experience in patient care.

Students in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program are expected to complete their degree requirements in four to five years. Eligible students will be admitted to pre-nursing in their freshman year and complete their required general education courses before applying to the BSN program beginning in their sophomore year.
