Scholarship Recipients
Maritza graduated from Grandview High School. She is a freshman studying education at Heritage University. Maritza hopes to become an elementary school teacher and would also like to work as a counselor for elementary-school aged children.
Yuli graduated from A.C. Davis High School in Yakima, Washington. She is majoring in social work and hopes to earn her master’s degree in that field.
Juan graduated from A.C. Davis High School in Yakima, Washington and is majoring in civil engineering. Juan hopes to earn a bachelor’s and master’s degree in this field.
Lizbeth graduated from Toppenish High School. Her goal is to help immigrant students succeed in their education and personal lives.
Brayan graduated from Sunnyside High School. He is majoring in English language arts, and would love to teach at his alma mater as a way to give back to his community. Brayan wants to earn an endorsement in educational administration.
