The Cost of Attendance (COA) figures listed on this page represent the estimated total cost before any financial aid is applied. It’s important to note that while tuition, fees, and books are direct costs paid to the university, the remaining components — such as housing, transportation, and personal expenses — are estimates of everyday living costs you may already be managing. Most students do not pay the full COA — grants, scholarships, and loans can significantly reduce your out-of-pocket costs. We encourage you to complete the FAFSA or WASFA and explore all available aid options to determine your actual net cost of attendance.

* credits required for graduate programs can be found on each program’s page
Figures shown above are for standard two semesters only (fall semester = 16 weeks, spring semester = 16 weeks). Undergraduate budgets are based on full-time tuition, 12-18 credits per semester, less than full-time credits or additional credits are charged at $898/cr. Summer 2026 budget expenses (not shown here) will be based on 8 weeks of attendance.
Other allowable expenses, not included in the table above:
- Commuting Expense may be considered for out-of-area commuting to attend classes for standard institutional mileage rates. To qualify, you must live more than 22 miles from campus.
- Child care/dependent care may be added. Childcare allowance can be increased if student submits documentation of actual expenses, and/or has more than one child requiring care thus increasing the expense. These allowances are restricted to costs directly resulting from the student’s attendance at the University.
