Over the past ten years, our innovative Course-based Undergraduate Research Experiences Pathways at Heritage University (CUREs Pathways @ HU) provides all Heritage University undergraduate scholars, including undergraduates interested in pursuing future paths in biology, ecology, wildlife, biomedical sciences, and nursing, cutting-edge process of inquiry hands-on and interactive research experiences connected with class and lab program and course learning objectives.
Our objectives include mentoring students in interactive teams, collaboration, and how to analyze data and utilize critical thinking skills in their chosen career paths. Furthermore, we synergize and network with all HU student wrap-around programs and provide individualized mentoring for each student in crafting their applications for exciting summer research pathways, include the following: The Leadership Alliance, the USDA Agricultural Research Service in Wapato, WA, and the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle, WA.
